Original Poem

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

What would you do?
If I could offer you my life
Would you treat it the same
Like I would

Willing to get up from bed
On gusty grey gloomy mornings
Having an optimistic belief on cool afternoons
Or just being pessimistic

Would you try to create new life?
Like a butterfly coming out from cocoon
Or would you keep my personality encapsulated
And try to be more like me

What would you do?
With the talents I so possess
Would you treat it the same
Like I would

Be elegant on the soccer pitch
Like a graceful gazelle
Try to jump high enough on the court
So you could throw down that basketball

Or would you try to develop
And explore more talents I may have
Or try to slam the door on talent's face
And live life like it is

Thus, the answer of the question
What would you do?
Lies in the heart of you an individual
Who ought to know wrong from right.
